We go to New Orleans. We go to serve. We go to use our hands to share God's love. We go to represent the entire congregation. We need your prayers. On May 11, during the 11 a.m. worship service, we will commission: Jan Schroeder, Jan Sterling, Karen and Stacey Xander, Cory Robinson, Jen and Megan Tancraitor, Kay and Bill Heidkamp, Steve and Ellen Heriger.

TWOgether Pittsburgh offers opportunities: opportunities for couples to be intentional on improving their relationship, opportunities to identify strengths and growth areas, opportunities to improve communication skills, opportunities to employ conflict resolution practices, opportunities to explore relationships in your family of origin and how they affect your marriage, opportunities to identify how both you and your spouse prefer to receive love, and some eye-opening activities on financial management. ALL MARRIAGES can be fortified—including YOURS. Do not miss out on opportunities using tried and true methods offered right here at Wallace. A weekend for all couples will be coming up in August or September—keep your eyes open for dates.

Sunday, May 11, will be the Family Pentecost Breakfast. Families with children in Pre-K-6 grade are invited to Fellowship Hall for breakfast, exploring Pentecost through interactive stations. On that Sunday, the fifth and sixth grade class will welcome folks to the 11 a.m. worship.

Adults are invited to attend class on Sunday mornings, also. Bible Focus, with Sielke Caparelli & Arlene Crissman, is studying Hebrews (Room 206); Faith & Life, Marijane Eibs, leader (Room 208); the Short Class (Lounge); and the Round Table, (Arthur J. Campbell Chapel) with Roy Humphrey.

JUNE OFFERINGS ( 9:15 - 9:45 a.m. ) June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 has something for all:

• Together in the WORD, lectio divina on the text for worship in the Arthur J. Campbell Chapel. Lectio Divina is a way of reading Scripture to listen with your heart to God calling for your response. Offering this Sundays before worship is in direct response to requests made during “Is the Passion in You?” offered during Lent.
• Summer Games, game for children of all ages on the lawn.
• Youth Connection

The Christian Education Committee will meet on JUNE 9 due to the New Orleans trip.
